Qingming Festival Holiday Notice

We will have a holiday from April 3 to April 5, 2022.

Tomb-sweeping Day is a traditional festival for the Chinese nation to commemorate ancestors.  Tomb-sweeping Day is a time for ancestor worship and tomb sweeping.  For thousands of years, people in this "qing Jing Ming" solar term, "sacrifice to ritual" chase far activities, for the dead relatives, ancestors, solemnly send their own thoughts and respect.  This sacred ritual of life exchange, passed down from generation to generation, is an important driving force for people's tenacious survival and pursuit of happiness. It is an organic component of the continuous development of the Chinese civilization.  Therefore, experts and NPC deputies have called for the enactment of tomb-sweeping Day and other traditional festivals to enhance cultural, ethnic and national identity.
